Born and raised in the small community of Prim in northern Cleburne County, I’m grateful to still call Prim home. My family and I live on our ranch, where we maintain two commercial chicken houses and run about fifty head of commercial Angus cattle.

   I graduated from West Side High School in Greers Ferry, earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in history from the University of Central Arkansas, and received my law degree from the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law.

   After passing the bar, I returned to Prim to live and work on the ranch—a decision I’ve never regretted. I’m a proud member of Sunny Slope General Baptist Church in Edgemont, and I do my best not to miss a Sunday.

​

   I’ve served the people of the 16th Judicial District since 2012—first as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, then as Chief Deputy from 2019 to 2022, and now as your Prosecuting Attorney. Our office prosecutes adult misdemeanors and all felony cases, enforces Arkansas law in the juvenile division of Circuit Court, and advises county government, including quorum courts and elected officials. I work closely with leaders across the district to solve problems, support victims, and keep our communities safe.

   When I’m not in the courtroom, you’ll likely find me outdoors—trout fishing on the Little Red River at daybreak, working the ranch, deer hunting, or calling the Hogs. We’re blessed with some of the best scenery and recreation in Arkansas, and I enjoy every chance to be outside.
